For four straight weeks packed with unique Christmas events, visit the Gaylord Opryland Hotel for acres of holiday decorations and lights and find traditional events sure to please the whole family, like gingerbread house decorating, ice skating, and Christmans lights. For an unconventional — but just as memorable — Christmas experience, check out events like the upscale water experience SoundWaves, tubing on a 15-foot-high, four-lane ice tubing hill, and a Christmas Story ice sculpture extravaganza!
Between November 10 and December 24, 2018 at Bass Pro Shops Santa’s Wonderland, Hendersonville parents can introduce their kids to time-honored traditions of holiday crafts and ornament-making. Kids will create their own moose ornaments, reindeer cone ornaments, Santa bobbers, reindeer hats, candy cane reindeer and Christmas cookies.
The Historic Belmont Mansion opens its doors for this candlelight event, where you can enjoy hot cider and cookies while you listen to live holiday music. You can also get tickets for a special Christmas dinner at the mansion at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019.
Belmont Mansion offers so many great holiday events that we had to highlight at least one! Breakfast with Santa is a 19th-century-style morning celebration that will delight kids with Christmas activities, caroling, breakfast, and of course a visit from Santa! Adults will enjoy the tour of the downstairs mansion decorated for an Acklen family Christmas. Wynd & Paisley Photography will be available to capture the moment.
Take a magical mile-long walk on the Cheekwood Holiday Lights path, illuminated by more than one million lights. All the traditional favorites are here, including hot chocolate, carolers, and real reindeer!
